According to the 2010 Census, the City of Marion is home to 17,193 people, which is a stark comparison to the population of 10,000 that the city held for nearly a century before he took over as Mayor.
In the last 10 years, the city’s sales tax revenue has increased by more than $2.5 million and the city’s property values have gone up by more than $100 million.
